What the hell have we come to?

Any intelligent individual who has watched Canadian Politics and the Ottawa Circus over the last 60 years knows that every leader is a skilled and professional liar; Stephen Harper is the first one who’s actually contagious. He’s spread his two-face disease to everyone close to him and by this time he’s polluted the whole damned Cabinet. The problem is that this is not just accidental slips of the tongue that everyone is guilty of on occasion, but a defiant intentional distortion of the truth to suit their own political ends. They combine this with a complete control of information via at least a thousand communication spin doctors on the payroll. I wonder how many of those useless additions are being sacked because of the budget cuts, anyone want to venture a guess. Bullshit is expensive but Stevie considers it an “Essential Service”.

The problem is that with the newly proposed budget, our current Fearless Leader has infected the Government of Canada with what is a terminal case of Necrotizing Harperitis. Canada is now threatened by internal gut rotting that will the result from ramming a budget containing 70+ regulatory changes up Canada’s ass: with no discussion as to any merit they might have. These are going to spread like a metastasised terminal virus through the body politic. They can now corrupt the democratic values that prompted the regulations in the first place and now the Conservatives are asking us to accept these undisclosed changes to regulations on the basis of trust.

LOL.

Trust Them?

Can you believe it. Given the Cons record of transparency and their obsession with Privacy, Secrecy and Security, asking us to trust Harper, MacKay, Toews, and Baird is simply camouflage for their destructive intent. What I can’t understand is why none of the backbenchers in the Cons have the balls to tell Stevie to ``Go to Hell`` and actually display some character and integrity by refusing to accept the bullshit their leaders are spouting. Don’t any of them actually have a mind of their own when it comes to matters of decency and honesty?

I guess they all fear the Helena Guergis Lateral Arabesque out of the party.

They should be afraid.

Loyalty is a one-way street with Stevie; it all goes in his direction.
